Anna Martinez-Snyder, PhD
Clinical Psychology Fellow
Dr. Anna Martinez-Snyder (she/her) is a post-doctoral clinical psychology fellow who earned her masters and doctoral degrees from Northern Illinois University and completed an accredited internship at Jewish Child and Family Services in Chicago. She is trained in evidence-based treatment and assessment. She practices from a cognitive-behavioral perspective and tailors her approach to the needs of each client. Dr. Martinez-Snyder conducts comprehensive assessments with children, adolescents, and adults and provides therapy to children and their parents. When conducting assessments, she integrates information from multiple sources using several methods to provide comprehensive results and recommendations. In therapy settings, Dr. Martinez-Snyder works collaboratively with clients and their parents to identify goals for treatment. She specializes in providing exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy for anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, as well as in parent management training.
