Child & Family Therapists

Konick and Associates has immediate openings for child, teen, adult and family focused therapists to work in our Naperville and Orland Park locations. Seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist (licensed or post-doctoral PhD, PsyD) or master’s level clinicians (LCPC, LCSW, LPC, LSW) who have a passion for working with elementary aged-children, adolescents and families. As a family practice, clients are treated for a variety of presenting problems such as anxiety, autism, ADHD, depression, OCD, behavior issues, adjustment and life transitions, social issues, and learning/school problems. Clinicians must be available on weekday afternoons and evenings; weekend hours are optional but beneficial for scheduling.

 

MINIMUM qualifications: Clinical Psychologist (PsyD, PhD), LCPC, or LCSW; solid training and experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), child and adolescent focus, competence in empirically-supported treatments. Must be skilled in behavioral management techniques and parenting coaching. Experience with neurodiverse conditions, trauma informed care, EMDR, DBT, and ACT is highly valued.  Pre-licensed clinicians and interns with the above mentioned skill sets are encouraged to apply. 

Postdoctoral Clinical Psychology Fellowships

Konick and Associates is offering one- or two-year full-time postdoctoral fellowships in clinical psychology, with a primary focus on comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments in our Center for Testing.  Interviews will be held via video (e.g., Zoom).  The principal components of the fellowship include neuropsychological testing, consultation, and diagnostic services (90%), as well as training and professional development (10%).  We strive to support our clinicians in developing a specific niche, or area of specialty.  Therefore, the opportunity to provide psychotherapy services is also available based on the applicant’s professional interests and training goals. 

Qualified applicants will have completed an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral training program in clinical psychology and APA- or CPA-accredited internship in clinical psychology.  Applicants with a strong background and training in psychological assessments are preferred. Testing Psychologists & Psychometricians

Konick and Associates has immediate openings for Clinical Psychologists (licensed or postdoctoral PhD, PsyD) and Psychology Interns to administer comprehensive, complex psychological and neuropsychological assessments in our Center for Testing. The position is located in our Naperville office.  Flexible days and hours, hybrid with in office test administration and the opportunity for remote report writing.  Prefer 2 years of supervised assessment training and experience.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with a variety of neuropsychological and psychological assessment measures and knowledge of best practices for testing.  Experience with autism and developmental assessments is highly valued.  Pre-licensed advanced doctoral level psychology interns and school psychologists with experience in psychological assessment are encouraged to apply as Psychometricians in the Center.  

Couples & Family Therapists

Konick and Associates has immediate openings for couples and family therapists to work in our Naperville and Orland Park locations. Seeking experienced Psychologists (licensed or post-doctoral PhD, PsyD) or master’s level clinicians (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT) who have a passion for working with adults, couples and families. Clinicians must be available on weekday afternoons and evenings; weekend hours are optional but beneficial for scheduling.

 

MINIMUM qualifications: Licensed clinician (PsyD, PhD, LCPC, LMFT or LCSW); solid training and experience in empirically-supported treatments. Experience with neurodiverse conditions, trauma informed care, family systems, Gottman methods, and Emotion Focused Treatment is highly valued.  Pre-licensed clinicians and interns with the above mentioned skill sets are encouraged to apply. 

Psychology and Counseling Internships

Konick and Associates is committed to fostering the education, professional development and training of talented clinicians. Internships opportunities are available in child, adolescent, adult and family therapy, as well as psychological and neuropsychological assessment.  Clinicians must be available on at least one weekday afternoon and evening; weekend hours are optional but beneficial for scheduling.

MINIMUM qualifications: Advanced clinical students or graduates from accredited Psychology (PsyD, PhD), Counseling or Social Work programs; solid training and experience in empirically-supported treatments. Experience with neurodiverse conditions is highly valued.   

 

Internships and training practicums are based on a 12 month period and a 10 to 20 hour weekly commitment.  Weekly individual and/or group supervision is offered by a licensed psychologist, licensed clinical professional counselor or licensed clinical social worker in the trainee's field.  Trainees are expected to participate in staff meetings and follow standard Practice Policies.
