Tayah Brent
Counseling Intern
Tayah (she/her) is a bilingual Master’s level counseling intern who is fluent in English and Spanish. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Arts in Forensic Mental Health from Adler University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Bachelor of Arts in Music from Lake Forest College.

Tayah has experience counseling adolescents and young adults in a university setting. She works to build strong relationships with her clients. Tayah utilizes a Cognitive Behavior approach to help her clients understand how their thoughts and behaviors influence one another. She integrates Adlerian, music, and mindfulness in order to assist clients in increasing their awareness and give them the confidence to manage their personal challenges.
