Jacq Babcock, M.S., MFT

Jacq Babcock, M.S., MFT (they/them) is a Pre-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. They received a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northern Illinois University. They specialize with the LGBTQIA+ community, including youth, adults, relationships, and families.  Jacq is poly, kink and fetish informed. Jacq also studied for 7 years with a spiritual teacher in Seattle, WA where they learned many tools to incorporate holistic approaches towards wellness.  Jacq provides counseling for:

Jacq’s approach is a blend of warm empathy and insightful accountability. They believe that creating change works when there is an environment of positive regard and an ability to be curious about alternative options that have not been explored. Jacq blends a style of using reflective questions to help you gain internal insight coupled with concrete action steps, so you have a clear direction of how to create the changes you are seeking. Jacq often uses Attachment Theory, which highlights how we repeat similar patterns in our current relationships that we learned in our family of origin. They also believe in a person-centered, strengths-based approach that helps to empower others to create change from a place of empowerment.
