Life Changes

Coping with Aging, Dementia, Divorce, Death, Transitioning to a New School, and other Life Changes

Divorce, marriage, or death of a loved one can be very difficult on families and often requires outside help in order to adjust. Other life changes, like transitioning between schools, preparing for college, or experiencing a midlife transition when your children leave home can be difficult to manage on your own. Konick & Associates can help with compassion, understanding, and proven techniques. We'll learn about the change or loss you are experiencing and how it effects all areas of your life. You'll be given strategies to put in place to help you feel better prepared for your future. While the path may be difficult, we can help guide you.

Seniors, Dementia, Late Life Transitions

We also provide counseling and cognitive rehabilitation therapy to persons with a dementia diagnosis with a clinical focus on preserving cognitive function, addressing co-occurring mental health symptoms, and assisting patients to maintain their highest level of independent functioning. Our professionals are experienced with aging clients and their families and can compassionately assist you and your loved ones.

If you would like to speak about life changes that are going on for yourself or a loved one, please contact Konick & Associates today.

"As a professional colleague of mine, Lisa is a warm and responsive psychologist who focuses on the person and not just the numbers or diagnoses. The clients I have referred to her are pleased with the results of her evaluations and treatment. I really enjoy working with her!!"
