Kierra Pauly (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW). She joined the clinical team at Konick and Associates in 2022. She has gained experience as a social worker in both school-based and clinical roles. She brings her background in behavioral health intervention services into her clinical work with children and families by using a collaborative approach to solve conflict, increase communication, and build trust. She works with a wide range of client populations, including children 3 years old and up, adolescents, and families with concentrations in the following:

Kierra approaches therapy through a trauma-informed and psychodynamic lens (primarily attachment-based and relationally-focused), while integrating other evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Experiential Therapy, and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). These styles focus on the client’s past, present, and future, with an emphasis on the client’s self-perception, values, and goals in relation to themselves and others. She utilizes creative activities, such as art and play, as part of the therapeutic process.
Kierra earned her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. Prior to entering the field, Kierra obtained a bachelor’s in anthropology from the University of Iowa. She continues to incorporate her knowledge on the impact of culture and societal systems in the lives of her clients.
