Advanced Doctoral Intern in Clinical Psychology
Leanna Rosinski, M.A., is an advanced doctoral student in her 6th year of the Clinical Psychology program at Northern Illinois University (NIU). Her doctoral focus is on attentional, emotional, and behavioral problems in childhood, and how parents can best support their child's development. She has experience in community mental health centers, schools, intensive therapy camps, and private practices to assess for a wide range of presenting concerns, including:
Leanna believes proper diagnosis is the crucial first step on the path toward healing and thriving. Gold-star assessment methods, coupled with careful consideration of the individual’s context, form the foundation of her methods. In addition to assessment, Leanna has conducted parent management training, group therapy, individual therapy, and intensive exposure therapy with children of all ages, from toddlerhood to adolescence. Her experience providing services in schools and community mental health settings have prepared her to collaborate with providers to facilitate integrated support and treatment.
Leanna received her bachelor’s and master's degrees in psychology from NIU. She is excited to be working with the team at Konick and Associates to provide therapy and assessment services to children, adults, and families.
